A computer lab comes complete with a welcoming volunteer to help and teach. The library contains DVD’s, books and more books, many in large print.
Most Timbers’ activities are open to the community, so there’s always an invigorating intergenerational component to gatherings. There are wellness lectures, travelogues, entertainment of all types and a wide variety of classes. Senior dances are planned regularly, and perhaps the most popular of these is the “Seniors’ Senior Prom.” In fact, the Timbers’ ballroom, the center for many activities, is the largest public space in Shorewood.
