Kym Frankovelgia will perform a concert for residents and the public at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020 at The Timbers of Shorewood, 1100 N. River Rd, Shorewood, IL.
Frankovelgia has a powerful love for the music of a bygone era – the 1920s through the ‘50s. She has performed with The Ink Spots, The Four Lads, Allison McKay and Connie Haines. She also was a singer with the Sammy Kaye Orchestra, the Glenn Miller Band, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra.
“I work specifically for seniors, private parties, social clubs and organizations,” she said. “What seemed like a good idea at the time turned out to be a great idea.”
The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides senior independent living and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Residents whose needs may change are able to stay in the same place and receive appropriate and compassionate care. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
