Dennis Colby will perform on the piano at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Timbers of Shorewood retirement community, 1100 N. River Road. This is a free event and is open to the public.
Colby has presented every genre of music throughout his career – from pop, jazz and Latin to Big Band standards. While he has produced and recorded music for some of Chicago’s most talented artists, his favorite venue is to perform for live audiences.
“I love to feed off the energy of a live audience,” Colby said. “My goal while performing is to see that every guest is fully entertained and totally enjoys the music and energy of my performance.”
Named the 2016 Business of the Year by the Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce, The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community that provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Residents whose needs may change are able to stay in the same place and receive appropriate and compassionate care. Furnished apartments are also available for short-term stays.
