Accordionists Frank Rossi and Eddie Korosa will fill the evening air with polka music at the “Concert on the Patio” performance at 6:30 Friday, July 19, at The Timbers of Shorewood’s outdoor patio. The concert is free and open to the public. The Timbers is located at 1100 North River Road, Shorewood.
Frank Rossi was named the 2010 recipient of the Order Sons of Italy Leonardo da Vinci Award of Excellence in Performing Arts, and he can be found performing in fine dining establishments in the Chicagoland area.
Eddie Korosa is the recipient of the 2014 Polka America Corporation’s “Frankie” Award, the 2013 Chicago Music Awards’ “Lifetime Achievement” Award, and the 2012 “Best Polka Entertainer” Award by the Chicago Music Awards.
“Frank Rossi and Eddie Korosa are two of our favorite entertainers here at the Timbers,” said Linda McCluskey, director of activities. “To have them together on the same night on our patio will be very special for the community. Please feel free to bring a blanket and/or a chair to enjoy the evening.”
Refreshments will be available for purchase, and all proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
