Seniors’ Health and Vendor Expo – May 15
A health and vendor expo for seniors will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, May 15, at The Timbers of Shorewood Senior Living, 1100 N. River Rd., Shorewood. More than 40 vendors are expected and the public is warmly welcome to this free expo.
Health screenings will be available for hearing, diabetes risk, vision, blood pressure and glucose. There will be information tables about hospice, home health care, and insurance.
In addition, to celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day – May 15, Baking Good Choices is selling cookies as a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association. Order a dozen chocolate chip cookies by May 13 and pickup at the health and vendor expo on May 15. $15 for a dozen cookies. To place an order, email leasing@timbersofshorewood.com.
