The Timbers of Shorewood Senior Living is hosting a holiday fundraising event titled, “Sunday with Santa” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, at the Timbers of Shorewood, 1100 N. River Rd., Shorewood. Photos with Santa will be available for a $10 donation. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
In addition to photos with the big guy, a craft show, bake sale and mini vendor fair is taking place in the ballroom of the Timbers.
The show features a dozen crafters offering a wide variety of hand-crafted wares including jewelry, table runners, Tupperware, cups, baked bread, ornaments, gnomes, wreaths, center pieces, wood crafts, and much more.
The Timbers of Shorewood Senior Living is a rental retirement community that provides senior independent living and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Residents whose needs may change are able to stay in the same place and receive appropriate and compassionate care. Furnished apartments are also available for short-term stays.
