Singer Marvin Minarich, wearing his trademark white tuxedo, will perform for residents and the public at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at The Timbers of Shorewood, 1100 N. River Rd., Shorewood. The event is free and open to the public.
Minarich is well known for singing the jazz standard “Mack the Knife,” which was performed by Louis Armstrong and Bobby Darrin and even used by the personified moon Mack the Night in McDonald’s commercials.
He will perform “Mack the Knife” along with many more favorites.
Named the 2016 Business of the Year by the Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce, The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community that provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services.
